Almost there - house and baby...
Here is a post that I wrote a few weeks back now. We haven't had Internet access for the past while, and so I haven't been able to post for a long time.
My Dad said yesterday that I am being really unfair to everyone out there not to update you on our progress. I absolutely agree with him, but everything is still so much of a shambles this side of the Atlantic that I am hesitant to start an update again.
Firstly, since I've had so many requests for this, here is a pic of Juliette 8,5 months PREGGIES:
My Mom held a surprise baby shower for me a few weekends back. The pics are from that day. It was AMAZING, because a)I had NO idea that it was being planned (and we are living in the same house) and b) because my Mom was able to be there and so many of my old friends and family members who were not able to share in James' shower. Was decadently spoilt! Felt like a princess, despite the bulge for that day.
Also to be noted: we are STILL not sleeping in the house!!! However, to somewhat quiet your gasps, I can say that I have cooked curry for my entire family and eaten it around our dining table (the new one we bought just before leaving the US); I have had friends for tea, lunch for the in-laws, made scones and muffins and sort of packed out most stuff. We have curtains in every window, except for the great room, which is a huge accomplishment!
