Panic

Last night I was rudely awakened by a mosquito flying up my left nostril. I sat bolt upright and snorted profusely, but couldn't seem to exhale the bloody thing. Rein woke up to find a squirming, writhing mass at the bottom of the bed, snorting and rubbing like a banshee! He was quite worried initially, but then when he realized what had happened, he relaxed. Unfortunately, it was too great a shock to my pregnant body and I collapsed in floods of tears, which hopefully washed the remains of the insect out, but also left me a bit dazed and confused. Such a totally out of body experience for me! Rein was very sweet and understanding, but while he rubbed my back I could feel little spasms of giggling emanating from him! Grrrrrrrrrrr!! Couldn't sleep after that. Can't anticipate what this body of mine will do next! At least I've lived to tell the tale. I mean it could have been a violin spider or something equally as revolting and venomous! Tee hee.

Weeks have been dissolving in a never-ending flurry of house stuff. We've been oiling our folding doors before they are installed, we've been semi- gardening, we've been buying and buying and buying. Good grief, the house is just a pit for our money. Kitchen to be installed in 10 days. Can't wait. We need to buy appliances for that now so they can be fitted along with the kitchen.

Rein is having a team building day at the race track tomorrow. They are going on a BMW advanced driving skid course. Quite fun for the guys, AND it means we have money off our insurance every month. Two birds with one stone. Of course, what is Rein most excited about? The fact he gets to wear jeans and a t-shirt for a weekday. These men - tsk tsk tsk!! :)
